Helping You Provide Care for a Loved One
Riverside Senior Life at Kankakee is dedicated to providing quality lifestyles for seniors with a variety of needs. Our network of care includes two dedicated Memory Care communities: our new, state-of-the-art Assisted Living and Memory Care community, Riverside Senior Life at Bourbonnais, and the Memory Care community on our own Kankakee campus.
Part of our commitment to caring for individuals who are suffering from memory loss is to act as a resource for their families and caregivers. We understand that there are many stresses and uncertainties when caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia, so we have set up a support group to help you connect with people who are in similar situations. Hear stories from others and learn some helpful caregiving tips along the way . . . plus, we invite you to share what you have learned while caring for your loved one.
