2023 Alzheimer's Longest Day Celebration
June 19, 2023
Alzheimer's disease, a progressive neurological disorder, affects millions of people worldwide. It takes a toll on individuals diagnosed with the disease and their families and caregivers. Each year, on the summer solstice, the Alzheimer's Association organizes an event called "The Longest Day" to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's research, support, and care. This year Riverside Senior Life Communities will be celebrating the Longest day on June 21.
The Longest Day is a powerful global initiative that brings communities together, fostering unity and raising awareness about Alzheimer's disease. By participating in this event, individuals and teams show their support for those affected by Alzheimer's, share their stories, and raise funds for research and support services. Through these collective efforts, we move one step closer to a world without Alzheimer's, where individuals can live their lives to the fullest. Join the movement and make a difference on The Longest Day.
